Hello everyone. This is Ota , the Authentic Wear Manager. Introducing "Come forth! The Evangelist of Authentic Wear," where we introduce our expert stylists at Authentic Wear.
I end up dedicating an entire episode to introducing a brand each time (lol), but this time I'd like to introduce Ms. Kanda from DOUBLE RL .
Let me make this clear beforehand: this post is packed with rich, flavorful content, like a hearty bowl of tonkotsu ramen . I hope you'll bear with me patiently.

As mentioned in our previous blog post, DOUBLE RL has a large and passionate fan base. We pay close attention to detail, even using vintage shelves and tables to display our products. Please be sure to take a look when you visit our store.

You can really feel the passion for American casual style in this place! I think it's quite unique and goes all out, even within Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building .

I've strayed a bit from the topic, but... what I'm most particular about is the stylist!
All three of our stylists are quite distinctive, so I'd like to introduce them one by one, but I think Kanda stands out the most.

I also think, "If it's not this good, the message won't get across to the customers." After all, being half-hearted is the worst!
Both Mr. Kanda and I love izakayas (Japanese pubs), but the ones with a quirky or unique owner are the ones that have the real charm, don't you think? (laughs)

Double RL products include vintage items that arrive irregularly, and each piece in the collection is crafted with incredible stories and insights.
While it's perfectly fine to simply wear it without giving it much thought, just like with watches , cars, or high-quality shoes , understanding the background of an item before purchasing it will likely deepen your attachment to it. When it comes to styling, whether you're pairing it properly, dressing it down, or mixing and matching , it will create a wonderfully cohesive look.


So, what I'm trying to say is that this is a product that "gets better the more you use it," so to bring out its full potential, you need a considerable amount of knowledge and love for the brand.

Incidentally, Mr. Kanda is a vintage enthusiast, so he has a wealth of knowledge not only about his own brand but also about other things. He provides customer service while also sharing his own information, so it's no wonder that he's gaining more fans.
Therefore, for our repeat customers, purchasing products is the final goal; rather, they come primarily to enjoy conversations with stylists like Ms. Kanda.

The accessories and hats that Ms. Kanda is wearing are also unique, so be sure to take a look.

Given the environment and appearance, and the fact that it's such a unique shop within Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , I understand that some people might find it a little intimidating to enter...
Contrary to appearances, they are known for their extremely hospitable service, so there's no need to worry.

Rather than seeing it folded, unfold it to look at the overall design, and touch it to examine the texture of the fabric and the stitching.
I think what makes Double RL special is that you can try the clothes on and the stylist's sales pitch helps you appreciate the true appeal of the products.
