Founded in 1937 in the suburbs of Manchester, England, by brothers John Miller and Isaac Miller, BARACUTA developed the G9, considered the original and prototype of all blousons, as a windproof and waterproof golf outerwear based on a British military jumper. The G9, beloved by Steve McQueen and others, has been a bestseller since its release, but alongside the G9, the G4 is also a Baracuta classic. It is slightly longer than the G9 and is characterized by the absence of ribbing on the sleeves and hem, and is commonly known as the "driving coat."
