KIRIJUM, a brand that embodies the craftsmanship and traditional Japanese aesthetics born in Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture, and offers silk products, primarily souvenir jackets, will be holding a pop-up shop at Isetan Shinjuku Men's Residence on the 8th floor of the Men's Building from Wednesday, October 7th to Tuesday, October 20th.

The theme of this event is "True Masterpiece." We will be showcasing a reversible jacket made with 100% domestically produced silk, with meticulous attention to detail from tailoring to design elements.

ABOUT｜KIRIJUM

Kirijyan cherishes and preserves the traditional techniques of sericulture, weaving, embroidery, and sewing that have been passed down in Kiryu. For the past 11 years, they have also been involved in sericulture themselves, continuing to create products that contribute to the continuation of domestically produced silk and the revitalization of local industries.
This brand uses natural silk materials and is committed to quality, ensuring that each garment can be enjoyed for a long time.
Another major appeal of Kirijan is the traditional "Yokoburi embroidery" technique passed down in Kiryu. Skilled craftsmen finish each stitch by hand, creating a three-dimensional effect and depth that cannot be achieved by machines, giving you the feeling of wearing a painting.
This is not just a fashion item; it's a garment that allows you to wear the traditional Japanese techniques, the passion of the craftsmen, and the history of manufacturing in Kiryu.

KIRIJUM | True Masterpiece

This special product line uses silk from Gunma Prefecture and traditional techniques from Kiryu to express the world of famous paintings and Kabuki in a single garment. Masterpieces such as Monet's "Water Lilies," Van Gogh's "Sunflowers," the Kabuki play "Shibaraku," and works by Ogata Korin, Ito Jakuchu, and Katsushika Hokusai are boldly and elegantly depicted using pictorial and horizontal embroidery techniques. The collection also includes special editions with patterns on both the front and back, and chic garments where the patterns appear when light hits them.
