The reason why we created a new "U-shaped counter" on the 7th floor.
Shinjuku, where Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building is located, has a counter culture.

The 7th floor was remodeled in September, and the atmosphere of the floor has settled down considerably. What I, as the manager of the 7th floor, want people to notice is, of course, the products, but also the "coordinated tables" and the "U-shaped counter with high chairs" that serve as communication tools with customers.
The coordinated display table is located at the front of the traditional zone, with the counter behind it, but both succinctly express "what the 7th floor wants to convey to our customers." First, the coordinated display table is a place where you can see the recommended items on the 7th floor at a glance, and the items are displayed in a way that sparks your imagination of how to wear them, such as pairing a Brooks Brothers jacket with Kenneth Field trousers.

The "Coordination Table" on the 7th floor lets you see at a glance the items we recommend right now.

You can carefully consider the coordination at this "U-shaped counter with high chairs"...
The counter is a multi-functional space where customers can chat with stylists and discuss outfit ideas. The inspiration for the counter came from the counters in the yakitori restaurants and bars lining the streets around Isetan. Shinjuku has many small shops, and it's the counter-style establishments that are thriving that we came up with the idea.
When the counter is bustling, you start to wonder, "Is this place good?" and people naturally strike up conversations across the counter. There's something about counters that strangely brings people closer together. Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building and Authentic Wear are not particularly spacious, but the newly installed counter should "create a Shinjuku-esque atmosphere and highlight the charm of its small size." Please feel free to use it.
