Tani was established in 1998 as a private brand of Tanitex Industries Limited, which designs and manufactures underwear and other items for world-renowned luxury brands. Based on three principles—"comfort" through timeless design and meticulous stitching, "innovation" through the highest quality materials and the latest technology, and "consideration for sustainability" by manufacturing durable items using renewable materials—Tani is sold in department stores and select shops in major countries around the world, including Japan, the United States, Australia, and Germany.
