大峽製鞄
Since its founding in 1935, Ohba Seikaban has been involved in bag making for over 80 years. For many years, they have continued to pursue the creation of authentic bags and have maintained an unchanging philosophy of craftsmanship. The origin of Ohba Seikaban's craftsmanship lies in school backpacks (randoseru). The process of assembling over 200 parts by hand is no easy feat, but they strive every day to put into practice the saying, "If you take good care of something, it will last a long time." The hand-sewing technique for school backpacks is unique to Japan and requires meticulous work and continuous training. Inheriting and developing the techniques of double-needle hand-sewing and other handmade methods, they manufacture fully hand-stitched attaché cases, doctor's bags, business bags, wallets, and leather goods.
