Pierre Corthay launched his brand in 1990 near Place Vendôme in Paris and continues to serve as its creative director. He joined a traditional French craftsmanship training guild at the age of 16 and was later influenced by the shoe houses JOHN LOBB and Berluti , with whom he worked. In 2008, he was awarded the title of Living National Treasure by the French Ministry of Culture. His products are favored by many celebrities both in France and internationally.
