"ISETAN Shoe Fair 2022" is officially happening! Popular limited-edition items and shoes that are sure to sell out will be on display. A powered-up 14 days are coming! [Updated September 14th (Wed)]（1/2）

This major event, which started in 2015 as "JAPAN Shoe Expo" and changed its name to "ISETAN Shoe Expo" in 2019, is coming again this year to delight shoe lovers!

From Wednesday, September 21st to Tuesday, October 4th, for 14 days, Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 1st floor promotion and Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building B1 men's shoes will host " ISETAN Shoe Fair 2022 , " the 6th annual shoe exhibition at Isetan Shinjuku Store.

This year's concept is "Meets Your Needs!!"

Last year, under a state of emergency, the "ISETAN Shoe Fair 2021" was held on a significantly smaller scale than usual. Despite these circumstances, more than 150 customers visited the store before it even opened on the first day, and a queue formed for entry, making it a resounding success.

This year, ISETAN Shoe Fair will continue to move forward. We have gathered many expectations and requests from our customers through surveys at the venue, Instagram, LINE, and more. In 2022, under the theme "Meets Your Needs!!", we will implement plans based on the passionate feedback we have received. We will be expanding the venue and brands compared to last year.

1. Popular Special Order Project

Our popular limited-edition collaboration is back! This time, we created the products based on feedback from our many customers. A fantastic collection of exciting shoes awaits you. Over 60 styles from 25 brands, including JOHN LOBB , EDWARD GREEN , CROCKETT&JONES, Stefano Bemer , Le Yucca's , and F.lli GIACOMETTI , will be available as pre-sale at Isetan Shinjuku Store .

2. Asakusa Shoe Shop

Inspired by a customer's comment, "Asakusa is hot right now!", we delved deeper and discovered that Asakusa is once again exciting thanks to the rise of a new generation of young shoemakers! This time, we're collaborating with the magazine "2nd" to hold a bespoke shoemaking event bringing together Asakusa's shoemakers.

3. Vintage Project

Many comments included, "I've recently become hooked on the appeal of vintage shoes!" SAFARI, a store in Koenji specializing in vintage dress shoes and other items, will be showcasing 150 pairs of shoes, including discontinued models from popular brands and bespoke shoes, under the theme of "things you can't buy in Japan right now." Furthermore, they will be introducing the fascinating world of "shoe upcycling," including the popular Regal Vintage shoes from last year.

4. New standard model

Last year 's Kruger & Brent, a cost-effective shoe from Berwick that sold out instantly, will be launching its second collection at ISETAN Shoe Expo 2022. In addition, British heritage brand BARKER will be showcasing its best value British-made shoes , and Japan's hugely popular D2C brand RAYMAR will be participating for the first time in two years . The must-see content that drew long lines last year is back and even better than before.

5. Shoe Shine Stand

This year, renowned shoe shiners from outside the Kanto region will be participating on a weekly rotation. Brift H, a leading figure in high-end shoe polishing, along with Hiroshi Hamaoka of BRIFT STAND (a spin-off from Brift H), Go Ishimi of THE WAY THINGS GO (the first champion of the Japan Shoe Polishing Championship), Naoki Terashima of HARK (the second champion), Yuta Sugimura of Y's Shoeshine, and Teruyoshi Togashi of GMT FACTORY are scheduled to be in attendance. This is an irresistible event for fans who want to enjoy the world of shoe polishing while engaging in conversation.
