On the 5th floor, the men's tailored clothing floor, there is a glass-enclosed workshop where you can watch the resident tailors making suits up close.
The tailor's name is Nobuhito Yamaguchi, and he is also an employee of Isetan Shinjuku Store, just like us. He comes from a famous factory in the Kansai region, but then went to Italy to train, and after returning to Japan, he joined Mitsukoshi Isetan Co., Ltd. Even after joining the company, he continued to go to Naples to hone his tailoring skills, and in 2014 he launched his own brand LA SCALA inside Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building .

I believe it's rare to find a tailor with their own brand within a department store anywhere in the world. While their earnest approach to clothing making might give the impression of being quiet, they are actually very gentle when you talk to them! A suit tailored in collaboration with the tailor is truly exceptional. Please come and meet them!

The Eat Paradise restaurant area on the 7th floor of the main building features many famous restaurants, and some floors also have cafes where you can take a break while shopping. There are also many restaurants in the surrounding area, so you won't have any trouble finding a place for tea or a meal, but on the other hand, they are all crowded, and you often have to wait in line, especially during lunchtime.

Located on the 8th floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building "Cafe Lizig" is a cafe restaurant with a calm atmosphere that makes you forget the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku. Based on the concept of "a cafe for discerning adult men," the interior is designed to resemble a luxury hotel lounge, with red sofas as an accent, creating a chic space.


While the main cafe, Eat Paradise, opens at 11:00 AM, this cafe opens at 10:00 AM, coinciding with the opening of Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building . In addition to cafe menu items, they are also popular for their hearty pasta and sandwiches, and they offer wine and cocktails. It can get a little crowded during late lunch hours, but it's a comfortable place for women to dine alone, so many customers stop by after shopping in the main building.

Since the golf driving range at Meiji Jingu Gaien closed, I hear that golf enthusiasts living in the city have fewer opportunities to go to the driving range on weekday evenings after work. However, the rooftop of Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building "Swing," a members-only golf school that is also open to visitors. This is one of the few facilities inside the Yamanote Line where you can practice golf outdoors.

We offer basic classes to help beginners get ready to play on the course, as well as private lessons and a personal range that even visitors can use. Club rentals are also available. Feel free to drop by after work or while shopping. Take the elevator to the rooftop and the front desk will be right in front of you. The facility includes a golf range with 8 hitting bays, as well as a private range with one bay separated from the others. There is also a bunker, so you can use it for practice.
