Besides India, I'm also interested in Paris right now.
Ms. Shibata , you've been to India, but what other countries are you currently interested in?
I've attended Pitti Immagine Uomo in Florence 10 times, and I've been satisfied with the food, gone fishing a few times, and generally had a great time in Italy, so I've decided to take a break from that for now and my interest has recently shifted to Paris.
The novelist Nagai Kafu was a Paris expert, and someone wrote a book retracing Kafu's steps through Paris. I read it and it was incredibly interesting. The descriptions of things like "turning a corner in a downtown alley and finding a prostitute standing there," and the descriptions of food and wine were just fascinating.
Shibata , Paris sounds great! I love Paris. In Paris, old-fashioned and cutting-edge things coexist, and I can't help but feel like I'm going to encounter something new there.
Kusano happened to be strolling around Paris on a Sunday when a luxury car pulled up in front of him and a cute girl in her early twenties got out. When he looked at the driver's seat, it was a man in his fifties, and the window rolled down smoothly, and they kissed goodbye. He thought, "That's Paris!"
Kusano and Shibata burst into laughter
Shibata: Today's Kusano-san is "romance," isn't he? (laughs)
I was blown away by the natural flow of things that made Kusano Ichiren's "charm" so defying age differences. It really sparked my imagination. Exploring the unique things and people that can only be found in a particular place is the most enjoyable part.

It's fun to see people wearing clothes in ways I didn't imagine.
Kenneth Field's foundation is American traditional style, but he incorporates diverse cultures from different eras and regions, so books like "Test" are incredibly valuable. Reading it in print allows you to visualize it, and it's the most impactful way to experience it. I enjoy reading various books and connecting those dots in real-world settings to create a coherent narrative.
My work has also been featured in "Gentleman's Maker," the quarterly magazine published by Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building . In this spring/summer collection, there is a long vest-like item that I wouldn't call a dress. Ideally, the most beautiful thing would be to wear a finished piece of fabric, but I haven't reached that point yet.
My training will continue, but I will be happy if the clothes I make bring joy to my customers.

Born in Kumamoto in 1969, Kenneth Field launched his own brand in 2012 after serving as director of "BEAMS PLUS." Based on the concept of "For NEW TRADITIONALIST," his designs are centered on American traditional clothing from the 1980s onward, which he experienced firsthand, while also drawing inspiration from the cultures of various countries and regions across different eras. His items, which are multifaceted updates of American traditional style, possess a depth that makes them difficult to wear.
