[Roundtable Discussion] Do you wear pajamas to bed? How to choose pajamas that improve the quality of sleep, which accounts for one-third of your life.(1/3)
This time, three people—underwear assistant buyer Ohashi, former underwear manager and pajama enthusiast Katsube, assistant buyer at Isetan Men's Residence on the 8th floor, and Isetan Men's Net editor-in-chief Tashiro, who "started wearing pajamas six months ago after being recommended to do so"—will discuss "the necessity of pajamas and how to choose them."

What do you all wear when you go to sleep?
Since taking over the Ohashi Underwear department, I've been trying out various pajamas, thinking, "I should try wearing pajamas." I know some people find it troublesome to change and end up sleeping in their loungewear, but I feel that by repeating the routine of changing into pajamas, I've improved the quality of my sleep and fallen asleep more easily.
Tashiro: That certainly seems like a plausible psychological effect. Actually, before I started wearing pajamas as recommended by Ohashi-san, I used to just get into bed and fall asleep while looking at my smartphone, but wearing pajamas has allowed me to change my mindset and focus on "sleeping."
Katsube: I hear that kind of thing is called a "sleeping ceremony." I only started wearing pajamas three years ago when I was in charge of underwear, and I sleep in 100% cotton pajamas.
Since I started wearing pajamas, the biggest thing is that it helps me switch gears mentally. Also, I wake up feeling more refreshed.

Right: Tashiro, Editor-in-Chief of Isetan Men's Net, who says, "I started wearing pajamas six months ago on Ohashi's recommendation."
Tashiro: I spend money on everyday clothes like suits and shoes , but when you think about it, we spend about a third of our lives sleeping... So, pajamas seem to have meaning as an investment in oneself.
What kind of pajamas has Ms. Katsube Tashiro been wearing lately?
Tashiro: Right now I'm wearing collared shirt-style pajamas. I always wear an undershirt under my shirts , but I wear my pajamas directly against my skin. I find the feeling of freedom from the fabric touching my skin so comfortable that I've become addicted to it!

Ohashi: Not only can you sleep comfortably, but you also feel great when you wake up in the morning, right?
Tashiro : Another important thing is the collar. I realized how important the collar is, to the point where I think, "You can really feel the quality of the material around your neck."

Check the stitching on the inside and how it feels against the skin.
The wide collar of Ohashi pajamas catches sweat around the neck and improves breathability. In addition, they are made slightly larger than clothing of the same size, so the fabric doesn't get pulled when you turn over in your sleep, which is another benefit that reduces stress.
Tashiro pajamas are designed with functionality in mind!
