The rare blue shell adds a refreshing touch to your wrist.
On the 4th floor of the main building, jewelry and watch stylist Karasawa suggests the Breitling AVENGER II GMT in blue mother-of-pearl to those starting a new life or fresh graduates. Breitling is generally associated with "instruments for professionals," but here's why Karasawa recommends it...
Since I used to be in charge of jewelry, I chose this watch based on its appearance, specifically because "the dial is very beautiful." This blue shell model is the "Avenger II GMT," which was released in 2016 as a special limited edition for Japan, and it uses a very rare blue mother-of-pearl (thinly sliced mother-of-pearl).
The color changes from blue to white depending on how the light hits it.
Since taking on the watch department, I've found myself unconsciously paying attention to men's wrists on the train and elsewhere, and I've realized that the size and thickness are crucial factors in determining whether a watch "suits" someone. The "Avenger II GMT" that I'm recommending this time has a well-balanced 43mm diameter and 12.20mm thickness, and I think it fits nicely under a sleeve. Also, the integrated bezel rider tabs are a symbol of this series.
Breitling is a brand known for its masculine designs and strong presence, and it often receives inquiries about specific models. However, this blue mother-of-pearl dial offers a variety of looks depending on how the light hits it, from deep blue to a refreshing blue and even a cloud-like white. I think it would look youthful on the wrist, even for fresh graduates.
In addition to the blue shell model, we also have the white shell model released last year, as well as the regular models with black and blue dials, so please come and see them in store.
The third watch is a "watch that tells a story," born in our own workshop in Germany.
