The dial features a design that seems to capture the scene of "hanaikada" (flower rafts), where cherry blossom petals scattered by the wind cover the surface of a river after the vernal equinox, one of the 24 solar terms.
The uniquely Japanese aesthetic of appreciating cherry blossoms even after they have fallen is expressed through a rock-like pattern and grayish-pink color, adding a touch of elegance to the moment you glance at your watch.

1,210,000 yen
Stainless steel case: 40mm diameter / approximately 80-hour power reserve / 10 ATM water resistance / automatic winding
The Grand Seiko Studio Shizukuishi in Shizukuishi Town, Iwate Prefecture, is where Grand Seiko's mechanical watches are made. Near the studio is one of Japan's most beautiful birch forests. The strength of the birch trees, which resonates with the pulse of the mechanical movement, is expressed in the meticulously crafted stamped dial.
