"Independent watchmakers" are individuals who manufacture watches without belonging to a company or brand. They handle almost every stage of watchmaking themselves, from design and engineering to assembly, finishing, and sometimes even making parts. They possess extremely high technical skills, and their brands bear their own names.

Isetan Shinjuku Main Building 5th Floor Watches will be showcasing watches made by Antoine Preziuso, one of these independent watchmakers , for two days only, on February 19th (Sat) and 20th (Sun).

An independent watchmaker who values originality and carries on the tradition of watchmaking.

Antoine Preziuso, whose father was a watchmaker, grew up surrounded by watches from a young age and later graduated at the top of his class from watchmaking school. After gaining diverse experience, including repairing watches for famous Swiss brands and those put up for auction, he established his own eponymous brand, ANTOINE PREZIUSO, in 1995.

Mr. Preziuso, who is also a member of the "Académie Horlogère des Horlogères Indépendants (AHCI)," an organization that only a select few recognized independent watchmakers can belong to, currently produces a limited number of 40 watches per year, together with his son, Florion.

A rare timepiece that will only be available for two days.

"Chrono Grand Robusto" 1,573,000 yen
Stainless steel case, 50mm (vertical) x 38mm (horizontal), approximately 42-hour power reserve, 3 ATM water resistance, automatic winding.

The "Chrono Grand Robusto" that we are introducing today features an original design that embodies Preziuso's philosophy on watches: "A watch is a tool to differentiate oneself from others. I want people to wear a powerful, impactful work of art that is an extension of their body."

The robust, sporty case features totalizers at the 12 and 6 o'clock positions, a power reserve indicator at 3 o'clock, and a small seconds subdial at 9 o'clock. The "Chrono Grande Robusto Italia" is characterized by a dial inspired by Italy, the ancestral homeland of Mr. Preziuso's parents.

Antoine Preziuso timepieces will be on display for a limited time of two days. In addition to the collection introduced here, we will also have a selection of other unique collections that showcase the brand's appeal.

Each watch made by Mr. Preziuso is handcrafted by him, so even the same model may have slight differences in detail. This is precisely the charm of watches made by independent watchmakers.
We hope you will take this precious opportunity to experience the charm of Antoine Preziuso firsthand.
