The "Trick" series, originally designed by Michel Parmigiani, was redesigned and added to the lineup in 2017. One of its defining features is the beautifully applied guilloché dial. Michel Parmigiani himself commented on the guilloché applied to his creations:

"Trick Chronometer" 2,592,000 yen
18K rose gold case: 40.8mm diameter, approximately 55-hour power reserve, COSC certified chronometer, 3 ATM water resistance, automatic winding.
The concentric circle pattern is reminiscent of the arrangement of pine cones, one of the countless examples of the golden ratio found in nature. The Parmigiani Fleurier logo and the word "Chronomètre," signifying COSC-certified chronometer status, stand out from the uniform decoration, positioned at 12 and 6 o'clock. The slender minute track around the outer edge, the well-proportioned Arabic numerals, and the semi-openwork spear-shaped hands are all understated in design to highlight the beauty of the guilloché.

Another distinguishing feature of the "Trick" is its case, which alternates between gadroon and mortage decorations, inspired by ancient Greek columns. Since the birth of the "Trick" in 1997, every "Trick" bezel has been handcrafted by a single skilled craftsman in Le Noirmont, Jura. The mortage decoration technique is unique, involving the application of fine, uniform grooves to a metal material using a roller. This requires repeating the same motion with just the right amount of force and precision, as even a slight mistake means starting over from the beginning. Although the mortage decoration is precisely applied, each piece has its own individuality because it is done by hand, and similarly, each "Trick" that is adorned with this decoration also possesses its own unique character.

The red gold case houses the in-house caliber "PF441," which is certified as a COSC chronometer, measuring hours, minutes, seconds, and date. The movement's components are meticulously decorated, befitting Swiss haute horlogerie, and even the smallest details, such as the guilloché pattern of wheat ears on the rotor, are a feast for the eyes.
Parmigiani Fleurier draws inspiration from nature and the golden ratio, creating pieces that evoke a sense of harmonious beauty. We invite you to experience its unique world.
