I found this SLOANE sweater at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building on the first floor, and I decided on it based on how the material felt. The outer layer is merino wool, and the inner layer is polyester, making it a double-faced (double-knit) sweater. It has a different texture from typical natural fiber knits, with a slightly firm feel that gives it a sharp, sophisticated look. The ribbed cuffs and hem are also elegant, and it seems less prone to pilling, which is another plus. I chose a chic and refined navy color.

He often wears jeans, so he frequently wears sneakers, but sports brand sneakers are too casual for him. I like men's all-white sneakers, and I found a pair of Gianvito Rossi leather sneakers that I liked in the shoe department on the basement floor. These sneakers would elevate a T-shirt and jeans outfit and would also go well with a formal suit.

A message to write on the card? I'm not very romantic, so writing a message would be difficult for me (laughs).

There were so many backpacks in the bag section on the first basement floor of Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building . They had a wide variety of materials and designs, but I chose the PORTER "MOTION" daypack because of its lightness. It's lightweight and has a user-friendly shape, and since I also use PORTER product, I felt confident recommending it to my father.

I chose a notebook because my father loves to write. He loves Japanese culture and writes haiku. My image of him is "sitting in the living room chair, either writing or reading something." I chose the "Hawaiian Sky Color" notebook from SHINOLA, as it's a convenient size to carry around.
