Conditions for a top-quality product

During the World Cup, the quadrennial football festival, I imagine many of you stayed up late watching the matches and suffered from lack of sleep, right?
The tournament concluded with France winning, just as Shimaji had predicted. Perhaps Shimaji, who can manipulate magical powers , possesses that kind of precognitive ability...

In addition to the regular column in the lifestyle magazine "Pen," which is currently on sale, Shimaji's personal belongings are featured in an article on the theme of "The Conditions for First-Class Items."
Please purchase the magazine at a bookstore and take a look.

On one particular day, Ms. Shimaji was seen wearing a kimono paired with exquisitely designed glasses.

Shimaji
: "My favorite items are featured in Pen magazine. Two pairs of glasses from my collection of over 110 pairs, made in France in the 1960s, and a custom-colored GLOBE-TROTTER travel case are included. Both are my favorite items, and I am very honored that the Pen editorial team selected them as top-quality products."
All of Ms. Shimaji's favorite items are wonderful, but this time we've selected some of the finest pieces to feature.

Ms. Shimaji's eyewear collection, which could be considered her trademark, is astonishing in its sheer number, but she also changes her glasses almost every time she welcomes guests at the salon. Try to check out what kind of glasses Ms. Shimaji is wearing today. Each pair of glasses is sure to have its own story.

Shimaji : "I've wasted countless amounts of money. Wasting money helps you develop a discerning eye. And by developing that eye, you can encounter more top-quality items. I encourage you to also indulge in romantic extravagance and discover some top-quality goods."

This week's quote
"Culture is born from romantic extravagance."

This week's drink
"Glenmorangie Original 10 Year Old"
A beautiful malt whisky with a citrus aroma.
It's light and sweet, and a citrusy aroma spreads in your mouth when you take a sip.
