We also received some innovative ideas from members who run fashion brands!
From project initiation to the selection of the best concept
The project actually began in early February of this year. Eighteen male students who had passed the preliminary document screening and presentations gathered at Beyond Café to participate in this project. On the day of the event, they welcomed Yo Ohno, editor-in-chief of the magazine "MEN'S EX," as a guest, and together with Katsushi Shinozaki, a buyer from Isetan Men's, they gave a detailed explanation of the importance of suits in business settings, how to wear them, their history, and points to consider when choosing one. They provided hints for the students to create their own original suits as a group. The 18 male students were divided into three groups and discussed what criteria to use and what elements and images to incorporate into the suits that would become their "battle uniforms."
"I want something I can wear not only during job hunting, but also after I've joined the company."
"You can gain the confidence to become someone who is popular!"
"I definitely want to retain that sense of luxury."
Many opinions and ideas were exchanged.

We'll solidify our vision by looking at fabric samples.

Some teams didn't finalize their content until the very last minute before the announcement.
Next, the groups worked together to create their ideal suits by looking at actual suit designs and fabric samples. They seemed to have a hard time deciding, paying close attention to the color contrast between the outer and inner fabrics and the resulting appearance. Finally, each group presented their chosen theme. Each group had a different theme, showcasing the individuality, ideas, and style of its members.
