Shinola's flagship store in Detroit, USA, opened in June 2013.
The store offers a full lineup of products, including watches, bags, leather goods, and bicycles.
The 2,500 limited edition units produced sold out in just 8 days.
The "Runwell" watch series, now the brand's flagship model, was released as a limited edition of 2,500 units online in 2013 and sold out in just eight days.
Following the launch of this product, the first flagship store opened in Detroit, followed by a second store in Tribeca, New York. Currently, the company operates 22 stores worldwide, including in Toronto, Canada and London, England, and some stores also feature cafes to provide a better shopping experience.
Furthermore, this watch boasts "high quality" comparable to Swiss-made watches, and comes with a lifetime warranty under certain conditions.
Starting with watch straps, they began producing leather goods.
Building on the success of their first watch series, "Runwell," they secured a production capacity of 55,000 units within the first year. Production of watch straps by vendors in Florida couldn't keep up, so they opened a leather goods factory on the same floor where the watches were manufactured. They began in-house production in Detroit in December 2014.

Some of the leather used by Shinola comes from a family-run tannery in the United States that has been in business for over 100 years. Currently, it is used in watch straps, bags, leather goods, belts, and accessories, and Shinola is committed to producing as much of its products as possible in the United States.
Furthermore, with the wish to "create something that can record all aspects of one's life in a good way," the company has insisted on using the highest quality paper for its notebooks, working in collaboration with domestic paper mills to ensure they are made in the USA. They also offer unique products such as bicycles and record turntables.
