The memorial gift I've given myself as a reward so far is Montegrappa's "NeroUno".

Along with SMYTHSON "BURLINGTON/Travel Wallet," buyer Sato brought along a ballpoint pen and mechanical pencil with all-black barrels from Montegrappa of Italy.

"Montegrappa is famous for its vibrant colored barrels, but this one is from their NeroUno series, which is all black. When I was promoted to manager in 2007, I bought it thinking, 'Maybe this will look more mature and sophisticated?'"
Montegrappa pens have an image of being flashy, but this one changed my impression and I thought it was really cool. It's currently stored in my desk drawer, but whenever I see it, I think , 'I remember how I felt back then, and I want to use it again .'"

Buyer Sato says, "As I've gotten older, I've come to appreciate good quality items that can be used for a long time, like white shirts and navy ties— the 'simple is best' philosophy ."

Italy, Britain, and France each have their own unique take on traditional style.

When asked about the differences in manufacturing between Italy, England, and France, buyer Sato, who also appeared in a conversation with Ms. Anna Matuzzo , who leads the renowned Neapolitan dress shirt manufacturer Anna Matuzzo, explained, "Historically speaking, Italy has a long history of being a subcontractor for Britain and France, so its quality is top-notch and its craftsmen are skilled. However, instead of emphasizing the quality of its manufacturing, it appeals to consumers with its stylishness, sophistication, and overall appearance that captures the spirit of the times."

"Britain is a country that truly embodies the classic principle that its traditional style will never change. The foundation is structured, and although there's a recent trend towards casualization by the new generation, perhaps because it's a country with a punk culture, when it becomes casual, it tends to have a slightly fashionable edge."

France also values history and simple design. I think all three countries are basically based on tradition, but Italy is good at adapting to the times, and I think it's also due to differences in national character, but each country has its own unique flavor and approach to tradition.

SMYTHSON says, "I like the reliable quality that is unique to Britain, and the simple design that doesn't try to pander to current trends. Black and brown are good, but SMYTHSON 's characteristic is its beautiful color variations. The iconic SMYTHSON blue is eye-catching, and I really like it."

Have you decided on a gift for your loved one this Christmas? When asked this question...

Choosing a treat for yourself is exciting, but selecting gifts for loved ones is also a special pleasure of this time of year, so the conversation turned to, "What about your family?"

"Since our child was born, I buy Christmas presents for the child, but for my wife... It feels awkward if I leave a gap of a while. It seems she wants a scarf..." he said, apparently having received a request.
