[Christmas Special] A reward for yourself: "MY Gift" ① | Let's use SMYTHSON 's "Travel Wallet" again(1/2)

Christmas is just two weeks away—and Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , is already enveloped in a Christmas atmosphere.
Isetan Men's Net supports your Christmas gift selection from various perspectives. In this "MY Gift" series, we interview "that person" from Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , about the reward gift items they're buying for themselves. Enjoy the stories of each person's special item choice.

"I used to use SMYTHSON passport case, but I had to take the cover off every time I went on an overseas business trip, and before I knew it, I was using my passport without a case," says Takumi Sato, buyer in charge of dress shirts & ties, casual shirts, and sweaters on the 1st floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building .
"It's not something I'll show to other people, so it's purely for my own satisfaction, but I've started to think it's okay to spend money on things that I can enjoy," she said, choosing a SMYTHSON travel wallet as her reward for herself this year.

The all-in-one SMYTHSON travel wallet

Buyer Takumi Sato appeared wearing a cashmere tie that he said he had been using for about 15 years.
Buyer Sato, who says, "If I like the material, design, and color, I'll use it for a long time," chose SMYTHSON 's "BURLINGTON/Travel Wallet" as her "gift to herself this year."

SMYTHSON offers many items suitable for travel, but buyer Sato says, "I wanted to keep my passport in the inner pocket of my jacket, so I chose a travel wallet with a detachable passport cover."

"I travel regularly to Italy, England, France, and New York, but I don't have a proper passport case. When I'm preparing for a trip, I think I'd like one, but when I get to the airport, I end up just putting my passport in my pocket without a case, and the edges get bent and it looks messy (laughs)."

Also, since I travel to multiple countries on a single business trip, I put my banknotes together with my e-tickets in a locker, but I don't have a wallet like this, so I can't organize them when I'm there, and that kind of thing is surprisingly stressful," says buyer Sato.

When I see people at the airport with their airline tickets in their shirt pockets, I think, "That must be convenient, but I hardly ever wear shirts with breast pockets (laughs) . So at the airport, I fold my ticket in half and put it in my passport, but then I sometimes drop it or straighten it out right before boarding, which looks a bit uncool (laughs)."

SMYTHSON 's "BURLINGTON/Travel Wallet" efficiently stores airline tickets, passports, and other documents such as receipts, and the passport cover is removable and can be used on its own.
