VANAC is a new sporty design series that opens up new possibilities for classic cars.
This model's case, bracelet, and dial are designed with the concept of the horizon as seen from Tokyo, the birthplace of "VANAC."

It employs the "Caliber 8L45" mechanical movement, which combines long power reserve and stable accuracy with robustness that makes it suitable for use in diver's watches.

A history of divers' watches etched by challenges

In 1965, Seiko launched Japan's first diver's watch. Since then, it has pursued reliability and safety for professionals, creating numerous innovative technologies. In 1968, it developed a high-beat model with 300m water resistance, and its robustness was proven by adventurers.

Furthermore, in 1975, they completed a 600m water-resistant diver's watch suitable for saturation diving in the deep sea. Their unique case structure and material development achieved high durability and reliability.
Since then, Seiko has continued to evolve by incorporating advanced technologies, earning the deep trust of divers and adventurers around the world. The spirit of challenge and innovation cultivated over more than half a century is carried on in today's Seiko diver's watches.

Based on the design of the model released in 1968, the "Divers 1968 Heritage GMT" features the "Caliber 6R54" movement, which has a GMT function that can display the time in two time zones with different time zones, and has evolved to be water-resistant to 300 meters for air diving.
