From September 13th (Wed) to September 19th (Tue), TAG Heuer, a Swiss luxury watch brand, will be hosting a pop-up event at The Stage on the 1st floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building. The event will also feature new timepieces from Porsche, a German luxury sports car brand.

TAG Heuer has strong ties to motor racing. In particular, it has a high affinity with Porsche, which shares the same signature "Carrera" model. To commemorate the 60th anniversary of both the "TAG Heuer Carrera" and the "Porsche Carrera 911," a unique timepiece equipped with a new mechanism, the "TAG Heuer Carrera Chronos Sprint x Porsche," will be available for pre-sale at Isetan Shinjuku from Wednesday, September 13th.

The "TAG Heuer Carrera Chronosprint x Porsche" is a special watch celebrating the 60th anniversary of both the "TAG Heuer Carrera" collection and the "Porsche 911" (originally known as the 901). Combining the features of both the "Carrera" watch and the "Porsche 911," this timepiece offers unparalleled timekeeping, featuring an eye-catching dial that visually represents accelerating speed, as well as a new chronograph mechanism.

The red line on the flange pays homage to the first Porsche 911, which achieved the remarkable feat of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 9.1 seconds. Dynamic elements give the timepiece a sense of dynamism and energy. The flange also features the "PORSCHE" logo and "CHRONOSPRINT" print, and the steel model is paired with a black calfskin strap.

As an homage to Porsche and a tribute to fans passionate about its iconic sports car, the strap is embossed with the number "911".
