Art promotion has started on the 8th floor of the men's department! The first event will feature photographer Mineko Orisaku and glass artist Rudolf Bruda.
From Wednesday, February 16th, an art promotion will open on the 8th floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building at Isetan Men's Residence. This promotion will showcase a variety of carefully selected art pieces from the perspective of Hideyuki Kasuga, owner of "gallery de kasuga," a gallery located in Omotesando, Tokyo, and a Doctor of Engineering.
Starting with the first event on Wednesday, February 16th, we will be exhibiting and selling "Kōin," a collection of works by photographer Mineko Orisaku, who captures beautiful landscapes and people from around the world, and glass art pieces by Rudolf Bruda, who creates sculptures mainly from glass, stainless steel, and steel with the theme of "space."
Mineko Orisaku
"While continuing my travels, I have expressed the fluctuations of my heart through my camera. I converse with nature, and I press the shutter at the moment when the rhythm of my heart and the rhythm of nature align," says Orisaku, describing his thoughts on his work.
This time, we present a collection of works themed on nature, featuring casual landscapes and fleeting moments of beauty from all over Japan, captured through Mr. Orisaku's unique perspective, as well as images of Mount Fuji that have rarely been depicted before, printed on gold and platinum foil.

Rudolf Bruda
From the works of Rudolf Bruda, whose technique of layering glass is characteristic, we have carefully selected glass art pieces that convey a sense of harmony between material and light.
We present works that utilize the transparency of Bohemian glass, produced in the Bohemia region of western Czech Republic. These pieces showcase the artist's skill in manipulating Bohemian glass, which is known for its high hardness and difficulty in shaping, to create a unique and profound presence.
