FilMelange, a brand that continues to create high-quality and comfortable cut-and-sew garments using only carefully selected natural materials, will be holding a pop-up store Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building B1F, Underwear, Socks, and Nightwear from November 24th (Wed) to December 14th (Tue). The store will feature a wide range of items, primarily focusing on the brand's signature sweatshirts, along with items exclusive to the direct store and collaboration items.

Fil Melange is committed to Japanese manufacturing in pursuit of comfort and a pleasant feel, and thoroughly develops everything in-house, from the selection of raw materials ("cotton") to the yarn, fabric, and sewing. The fabric, woven on one of the few old-fashioned "loopwheel knitting machines" in Japan, has an appealingly soft texture, and while the brand's signature cut-and-sew garments are well-known, the sweatshirts, which we are focusing on this time, are particularly highly regarded.

During the pop-up event, a diverse lineup of sweatshirts made from fabrics with various characteristics and textures will be available.

The full-zip hoodie "RICKY" uses "Radi French Terry," a 100% cotton fabric developed by Fil Melange using their "best recipe." The outer yarn uses Sea Island cotton, and the inner yarn uses carefully selected and blended cotton from around the world, resulting in a finish that feels beautifully lustrous and as soft as cashmere.
Of course, in order to make the most of the raw materials, they deliberately use "loopwheel knitting machines," which are less efficient in terms of production, to knit the fabric slowly and carefully, resulting in exceptional comfort. At the pop-up store, the sweatpants "ROD" will also be available in the same material.

"SAM" is knitted with a light, substantial feel, somewhere between a sweatshirt and a T-shirt. Developed with the aim of creating a material that can be worn daily as both a top and an inner layer, this new fleece material uses high-quality cotton for the outer yarn and a cotton-silk blend with 20% silk for the inner yarn, resulting in a smooth feel against the skin. In addition, the silk creates many air layers, making it excellent for heat retention and moisture retention. The generous silhouette and classic details such as extra-thick double-needle stitching give it an appealingly minimalist design.
