Kobe-based leather bag brand cornelian taurus by daisuke iwanaga will be holding a pop-up shop at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building B1F Bags section from November 17th (Wed) to November 30th (Tue).

During the event, in addition to the Autumn/Winter collection, customers can choose from a wide range of models, including some not usually available at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building and place color orders. Pre-orders for the 2022 new collection will also be accepted.

Designer Daisuke Iwanaga, who explores his own unique creations in his hometown of Kobe, a place that he considers the source of his identity, pursues his ideal form by personally creating patterns that emphasize delicate lines born freehand, as well as making samples himself. His father, who is skilled in meticulous handiwork, is in charge of the brass parts and woven designs that are icons of the brand, and people who share his values support his craftsmanship.

In this environment, he approaches manufacturing with sincerity, directly dealing with some of the country's leading tanneries in pursuit of the leather that best suits the brand's worldview, and sometimes even developing leather from scratch together with the tanneries.

This season's new backpack features thinly sculpted leather, approximately 0.8mm thick, combining the lightness and flexibility of nylon with the elegance of leather. With a PC pocket, front pocket, two side pockets, and an inside pocket, it boasts ample functionality and is suitable for a wide range of occasions, from business to everyday use.

This pop-up store will feature a diverse lineup of models not usually available at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , including the Fall/Winter collection, as well as women's models and leather goods. Of these, 25 models will be available for color ordering, allowing you to select your preferred material and color. In addition to cowhide, we will also offer exotic leathers such as ostrich and crocodile leather, making this a special opportunity to acquire a truly original item.
