MINAMI SHIRT, one of the few bespoke shirt brands in Japan, will be holding an order fair at the Personal Order Salon on the 2nd floor of the main building of Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store from Wednesday, September 15th to Tuesday, September 28th. This special two-week period will feature a limited-time selection of special fabrics chosen by Mr. Minami, the brand's owner and craftsman.

Furthermore, on September 25th (Sat) and 26th (Sun) during the event, Mr. Minami will be visiting the store and will be holding an order event where you can order not only regular made-to-order shirts, but also bespoke shirts and shirt jackets. Don't miss this rare opportunity.


MINAMI SHIRTS takes measurements of the neck, shoulder width, sleeve length, bust, waist, hips, back length, wrist, and armhole, as well as the slope of the shoulders, the front of the neck, the front of the shoulder, and how the sleeves attach. The patterns created based on this detailed data are what create a beautiful silhouette and a comfortable fit tailored to each individual customer's body shape.

The ease of movement, soft feel, and beautiful appearance created by the gathers placed throughout the garment are also appealing features.



At the order event on September 25th (Sat) and 26th (Sun), Mr. Minami will be present to take orders for bespoke shirts and shirt jackets for which he supervised the pattern design. Bespoke shirts, for which Mr. Minami himself takes the measurements, are produced entirely in the MINAMI SHIRTS atelier, from measurement and pattern making to cutting, sewing, and finishing, so it is possible to meet a variety of requests. For example, the pattern can be adjusted to match the desired look, such as whether or not to wear a tie or how many buttons to leave open when wearing the shirt.
