The unique "oscillator" regulating mechanism, which integrates the balance wheel, hairspring, escapement lever, and regulator, astonished the watch industry. The "Defy Inventor" model is equipped with this mechanism, and the caliber, which features an oscillator that beats at 129,600 vibrations per hour and is visible through the dial, is truly breathtaking.

From Wednesday, March 4th to Tuesday, March 24th, the Watch/Promotion section on the 5th floor of the main building will host a promotion featuring the Defy Inventor, as well as the entire Defy collection.

At the heart of the Defy Inventor lies the "Archetype," a revolutionary oscillator-controlled chronometer developed in 2017 in a limited edition of only 10 pieces. One of the most crucial components of the Defy Inventor is the integrated Zenith oscillator, developed through a scientific approach that shattered the Maison's existing concepts. This oscillator, which brought about a major innovation in the watchmaking industry, replaces the traditional balance spring, resulting in exceptional timekeeping accuracy and increased resistance to temperature changes and magnetic fields. Its functionality is also impeccable.

Furthermore, the model boasts an avant-garde appearance. It employs ultra-lightweight materials such as Aeronite, a lightweight aluminum composite, and combines structural beauty with aesthetic appeal. The sophisticated openwork dial is reminiscent of the Zenith Star, an iconic symbol of the brand.
