Tomohiro Watanabe, the buyer in charge of dress shirts and ties on the 1st floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building appeared in a navy suit and a navy tie from CHARVET . At first glance, it looks like a simple solid tie, but the woven pattern gives it a three-dimensional look around the chest. "The appeal of CHARVET ties lies in their unique woven pattern with its subtle shading, and the way the knot becomes elongated when tied, creating a beautiful dimple. They are easy to tie and have a rarity value that sets them apart from others, which also contributes to their popularity," he says.

The main trend for the autumn/winter season is "elegance that rediscovers nostalgia."

The top trend for the Fall/Winter 2019 season is the "warm-toned ethnic" V-zone! -- With the rise of "tailored elegance" worn in a traditional, tie-up style this season, the must-have colors for the V-zone are warm and earthy tones such as terracotta, brown, orange, and mustard yellow. Mixing these colors to create an "ethno-mix" look, along with exotic patterns featuring African and oriental motifs, are fresh and appealing.

With a renewed interest in 70s nostalgia, natural tones derived from safari styles and the color palettes of the Peacock Revolution are emerging as trends. This "rediscovery of the newness of nostalgia," resonating strongly with vintage styles, is driving elegant styling to take center stage in men's dress wear trends.

The material to watch out for this season is "Irish poplin."

This season's must-have material for ties is Irish poplin. The fabric is wrinkle-resistant, and the knot is light and airy when tied, giving a relaxed and sophisticated look. Its excellent fit makes it perfect for creating a light V-zone that doesn't look too heavy.

Brands such as Fumagalli, MARZULLO, and DRAKE'S, making their debut on the 1st floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building are leading the "warm-toned ethnic style" trend.
