From July 17th (Wed) to July 30th (Tue), Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 1F, will be holding a promotion focusing on casual shirt fabrics at its custom shirt shop. In addition to introducing new patterns for the 2019 Autumn/Winter collection, they will also be offering limited edition fabrics from the prestigious Italian shirt fabric manufacturer Monti, providing a wide variety of options for custom orders.

When you think of custom-made shirts, many people probably picture "dress shirts" used for work, but Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 1st floor, you can always order casual shirts.

During the "Casual Shirt Promotion" being held on the same floor, a wide variety of the latest casual fabrics will be available in diverse colors and patterns, including indigo-dyed fabrics, check patterns, and melange-style fabrics made with top yarn.

The casual shirt fabrics, primarily indigo-dyed, that will be unveiled during this period are produced almost entirely by Ueyama Textile, located in the Nishiwaki district of Hyogo Prefecture, one of Japan's leading cotton weaving regions known as "Banshu-ori."

This collection will feature not only "rope dyeing," a method used in regular indigo dyeing that dyes the surface and nearby parts of the yarn, but also original fabrics that can be enjoyed with a sophisticated faded look, achieved through "cheese dyeing," a rare method in indigo dyeing that dyes the entire yarn, including the core.

Additionally, Monti, one of Italy's three major shirt fabric manufacturers with a history spanning over 100 years, will be offering limited-edition fabrics. As one of the few manufacturers in Italy that handles production from raw cotton to finished product, the brand is renowned for its exceptional colors and patterns. We will be taking orders for 18 different casual shirt fabrics, with only 5 shirts available for each type.

Of course, in addition to choosing collar styles and cuffs, a stylist will take detailed measurements at approximately 14 points, resulting in a garment that perfectly fits and is tailored to your specific needs. You can fully enjoy the pleasure of ordering a custom-made garment.

Furthermore, with the revamped custom shirt service this spring, we've introduced a tablet-based ordering system.
