The Swiss watch industry boasts a vast number of manufacturers, ranging from large corporations to small, independent maisons. While their craftsmanship and individual approaches vary greatly, the watch section on the 5th floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building, which will reopen on Wednesday, June 19th, will feature some of the most distinctive and meticulously crafted small maisons operating in Switzerland.
Here, we introduce four fashion houses that stand apart from major manufacturers, possessing a level of craftsmanship and design that cannot be achieved through mass production. We encourage you to pay attention to the uniqueness of each brand and the way they are made.
