A classic American-made blazer where tradition and trends intertwine.
Following various initiatives to commemorate its 15th anniversary in 2018, Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building Men's Building, has entered a new phase for Spring/Summer 2019, aiming to become a truly unique and overwhelming presence as a "PEERLESS STORE." On the 7th floor, in the Authentic Wear section, BROOKS BROTHERS, a brand symbolic of American traditional and Ivy League looks, is committed to Made in USA products and will be re-proposing a navy pitting blazer, sewn in their own Southwick factory, as a timeless yet trendy item.

*Scheduled to be rolled out from early April
In search of the ever-evolving, cutting edge of "authenticity," the 7th floor, dedicated to authentic wear, has been boldly reborn. Brooks Brothers , a brand that could be called an icon of American traditional style, has been met with great acclaim thanks to its new interpretation and proposals following its "move" from the 5th floor, dedicated to business clothing.
Brooks Brothers , also known as America's oldest menswear retailer, is an iconic symbol of traditional American menswear. While it is now a global company with numerous production facilities both domestically and internationally, its own factory in Southwick, renowned as one of America's premier tailoring factories, stands out.
Founded in Lawrence, Massachusetts in 1929, Southwick established the uniquely American standard of natural-shoulder jackets. Leveraging its illustrious history and tradition, Southwick has created a truly venerable Made in USA blazer. This classic navy blazer, sporty yet formal and versatile enough for casual wear, coincidentally perfectly aligns with this season's trends. Therefore, it's a must-have item, especially recommended for younger generations.

*Scheduled to be rolled out from late March
Furthermore, a navy blazer wouldn't be complete without metal buttons. A replacement button set made by Waterbury, a prestigious button manufacturer with a longer history than Brooks Brothers will also be released. Brooks Brothers has changed its logo nine times in its long history of over 200 years. After carefully considering all of these, the pattern that was chosen and adopted as the most balanced for metal buttons is the one used when the brand first arrived in Japan in the 1970s. It will be available in three colors: gold, silver, and antique brass, with the antique brass shown in the photo being an Isetan Men's exclusive.
These buttons allow you to instantly upgrade and refresh your existing jackets simply by swapping them out, and they're also reasonably priced. They're likely to become a hidden gem and a perfect "My First Brooks Brothers" item.
