- Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building 8F Isetan Men's Project
From Wednesday, December 26th to Tuesday, January 15th, Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 8th floor = Isetan Men's Residence will be focusing on Masunaga Optical. In addition to unveiling the new 2019 collection, a wide variety of eyewear will be available.

Masunaga Optical is also known for presenting frames to Emperor Showa during his visit to Fukui Prefecture.
To create "good glasses," the company insists not on "Made in Japan," but on "Handmade in Japan." The process of manufacturing eyeglass frames, which is carried out entirely in their own factory, involves as many as 200 steps, and the appeal lies not only in their production technology but also in their designs that fit the times.
This time, we'll be highlighting some recommended models from the lineup featured in the promotion.

From top: Eyewear "GMS-115" ¥43,200, "JUNO" ¥70,200
First up is the "GMS-115," a trendy design incorporating a polygonal (hexagonal) shape into the popular double-bridge style. The intricate details, such as the patterns and structure of each part, give it a strong presence.
Next up is the "JUNO," which features a different arabesque pattern engraved on both sides of the bridge by attaching another metal part to the underside of the bridge. This is a popular "MASUNAGA designed by Kenzo Takada" model. The high level of design is appealing, with engraved patterns even on the temple joints. This model is full of meticulous details, such as the combination temples that integrate plastic and metal, and the metal parts of the modern frames that feature the bellflower, the family crest of Kenzo Takada.

From top: Eyewear "MOKKO" ¥70,200, "GMS-113" ¥48,600
Here's another model from the collaboration with Kenzo Takada. The "MOKKO" features a round frame with a slightly elongated lens shape, made from a combination of titanium and acetate. This model also features Takada's family crest, the bellflower, on the inside of the left temple. A limited edition color is available for this release.
Finally, there's the classic metal teardrop-shaped "GMS-113." This new sunglasses series features a titanium frame designed with a focus on functional beauty, and glass polarized lenses.
