From Wednesday, October 3rd Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 8th floor = Isetan Men's Residence will be hosting a promotion for L. Kendall, a brand founded by Larkham Kendall, a renowned pioneer of British watchmaking. The promotion will focus on the brand's representative models, known for their significant contributions during the Age of Discovery.

In the 18th century, during the Age of Discovery, accurately determining one's current position was a pressing need for European nations when navigating the seas.
The "K1 Marine Chronometer," manufactured by Lacalm Kendall, was the first accurate timepiece to be successfully tested at sea by James Cook (aka Captain Cook) of the sailing ship Resolution, contributing to his circumnavigation of the globe. Subsequently, the development of the "Chronometer K2" and "K3" contributed to numerous historical moments, including the discovery of the Hawaiian Islands and Vancouver, Canada.


In 2014, nearly 200 years later, El Kendall was revived as a wristwatch, paying tribute to the great British watchmaker and the adventures of the sailors who ventured into the world's uncharted waters.
Featuring classic designs inspired by marine chronometers of the time, the collection boasts a diverse lineup including the chronograph "K4," the regulator "K5," the big date model "K6," and the "K7" with a 24-hour hand.
