Women tend to dream about weddings, but what about men?

Tashiro: Today's main topic is choosing a wedding venue, but do men (grooms) generally tend to follow the woman's (bride's) wishes?

Tamura women have many dreams for their wedding, such as "I want to wear this kind of dress" or "I want to have a dessert buffet in the garden," but men tend to express their wishes based on their experiences at weddings they have attended, such as "The food there was delicious" or "The staff were very helpful."

Mr. Aratani says, "The wedding begins the moment the invitation arrives." He views venue selection as a job, and from a sales perspective, he wants his boss, colleagues, and friends who receive the invitation to think, "They're having their wedding at a nice venue," or "They've chosen an interesting place." In fact, some people choose venues from that perspective.

Is that how men in Tashiro think? I've never heard that before! I always thought it was "women express their wishes, and men accept them." So men are looking for status, huh?

When it comes to the Tamura Ceremony, women tend to be more dreamy, while men are more realistic. Men often tell women, "You can decide whatever you like," but in reality, "the woman chooses, but the man makes the decision."

From a woman's perspective , it's like, "He lets me choose, but the man makes the final decision," but since the trust between the two is usually quite solid by the time they come for a consultation, there are rarely any disagreements.

Tashiro: So, each of us has already established our respective roles at that stage.

Aratani: "I think the best way to choose a wedding venue is for women to focus on their ideals and the atmosphere, and for men to focus on practical aspects such as the schedule and cost."

Tashiro: Can men also come to "Isetan Bride" with you?

Tamura : Yes, of course, couples come together, but often the man comes alone or both sets of parents come together for consultations. The man also wants to be in agreement before the ceremony, and furthermore, acting as a go-between for the woman and both families helps to increase trust.

Tashiro : I see. That's quite insightful.
