"There's nothing that would make me happier than if we could move people's hearts through our clothes," says Hiromichi Ochiai, designer of FACETASM. His Fall/ Winter 2018 men's collection, which has gained even more depth through his unique interpretation, will launch on July 21st (Saturday) Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 2F = International Creators .

What happens when your emotions are greatly shaken?

"Following a very personal incident in which I was surprised by my own strong emotions, this collection was born from the desire to capture those deeply moving moments and shifts in clothing," says Facetasm, explaining the theme of their Fall/Winter 2018 collection, "EMOTION."

The models walking the runway exude a strength born from the moment, adorned with wrinkled fabrics, the shifts and distortions that arise from wearing the garments, and the volume created by layering. The brand's signature baseball shirts are elevated into new, impactful silhouettes by combining various elements. String details that seem to express fluctuating emotions intricately intertwine within the styling, creating a complex interplay of emotional ups and downs.

"EMOTION" visible in the creation

The collection, described as "experimenting with various techniques such as wrinkled materials, shifts, distortions, and layering, while imagining and expressing what happens when emotions are greatly stirred," expresses the "swelling, mixing, and writhing" that occurs when emotions overflow, using unique methods. Strong emotions deep within the heart intertwine with the power and aesthetic sense of the clothes, making the collection vibrant and dynamic.
