Founded in Switzerland in 2002, Speake-Marin possesses a unique worldview that combines the tradition of Swiss watchmaking with the sensibilities of its British founder. Using the "Piccadilly" case design, which is inspired by the tourbillon pocket watch created at the time of its founding, the company manufactures and releases a variety of watches, including single-hand models, tourbillons, minute repeaters, and complicated timepieces where the dial animation is synchronized.
Even after Speake-Marin left the brand, it has embarked on a new path, aiming to produce all of its movements in-house.

The "One & Two Academic," a symbol of the reborn Speake-Marin, was designed by Eric Gill, who also designed Harry Winston's Opus 11 and MB&F's Horological Machine. This extremely simple model features a lightweight and thin titanium case, adding a casual yet chic touch to the wrist.
