Hat designer Akira Takeichi graduated from the Department of Crafts at Tama Art University. After working as a craftsman at a hat manufacturer, he was involved in the production of hats for various domestic apparel brands, and in 2014 he started his own brand, Terai Craftment.

At the first pop-up event held at Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building in February of this year, colorful pigskin caps were well-received as sophisticated caps for adults. Designed with everyday wear in mind, each cap is meticulously crafted to fit the shape of Japanese heads, with attention paid to details such as brim width, depth when worn, and the angle at which the face is visible, all based on feedback and research from various customers.

Mesh pig suede caps: ¥13,500 each

This pop-up shop will feature a lineup of colorful hats perfect for summer, centering around popular pigskin caps. We'll also be showcasing summery denim and leather caps, as well as reversible, foldable caps. These reversible caps are appealing for their original designs, created by combining unique fabrics selected by the designer himself. Whether for yourself or as a Father's Day gift, why not try a sophisticated cap for adults this summer?
