With the rise of "Scottish-Italian" cuisine, British trends are finally becoming a reality!(1/2)

The term "British," often heard as a keyword in men's fashion, is an adjective used to describe British-style tailoring, materials, colors, and patterns. Along with Italian classic style, it is one of the two major trends in men's fashion, and "British," which has been gaining prominence in recent years, is also an important trend keyword this season.

So, what's different about this season's "British" trend from the past few years? The most obvious difference is the use of materials and colors. Even in Britain, the inspiration comes from countryside attire. This season, Isetan Men's focuses on the hunting and fishing styles that British gentlemen once enjoyed, clearly presenting a "Scottish-Italian" interpretation of classic tailoring.

Generally speaking, this "British" trend can be broadly divided into urban English style and traditional Scottish style. In contrast to the style of the wealthy urban class represented by Savile Row, the traditional Scottish style has a strong country gentleman vibe, characterized by items and styling that evoke a sense of nostalgia and character.

The use of thick woven fabrics such as tweed, which boasts a unique color, and traditional checkered patterns based on folk motifs are elements of Scottish style. While using materials with retro country colors and patterns that are instantly recognizable, the silhouette is smartly modernized, which is very much in line with today's trends. Rather than the British tailoring that is often described as "armor," a modern and light Italian-style fitting is adopted, resulting in a "British" style that is easy for the modern gentleman to incorporate into his wardrobe.
