Buyer's Choice: "Every Stitch with Dedication" #1 – The Value and Charm of the Next Generation of Sartorialists | Standard-Bearers of the Generation Who Want to Build Sartorial Culture Together

Not just putting your heart and soul into every pitch, but every stitch. This time, we introduce the philosophy of craftsmanship from Southern Italy that deeply moved Yuki Yamaura, the buyer in charge of business clothing on the 5th floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building at Isetan Shinjuku Store. While industrial products have a perfected beauty unique to mass production, what Yamaura is looking for now is "something unique, something with character." The warmth of human touch and the value of handmade craftsmanship will likely become even more important in the future.

Luca Gracia Suit: 302,400 yen each
For this first installment, we feature Luca Grassia, a tailor from Naples, Italy. Like other traditional industries, Italian tailors are struggling with the problem of finding successors, and in fact, many tailors say that they "don't have anyone to pass the baton to in order to change the throne."

Luca Gracia, currently 31 years old, is a highly anticipated and innovative tailor. He has a strong sense of his own style and is very dedicated to his craft. He is actively venturing into both bespoke (made-to-order) and ready-to-wear (prêt-à-porter) fashion.

Upon visiting the workshop, they found Luca enthusiastically explaining the finished stitching work. As a representative of Isetan Men's, they felt a strong desire to contribute to the future of sartorial culture alongside him.
