#A long-established new classic

We've revamped our long-standing, popular classic product. It's now even more delicious and innovative.

For over 210 years, Tsuruya Yoshinobu has upheld its belief in "creating fine things," and this time, they have created new fresh confections inspired by cherry blossoms. "Hana Ichinyo," a uiro (rice flour jelly) confection filled with yellow bean paste, expresses the idea that cherry blossoms are at their most beautiful, while "Goshozakura" depicts the cherry blossoms blooming at the Imperial Palace with kinton (sweet potato paste) and tsubuan (sweet red bean paste). Enjoy the scenery of spring with these Kyoto sweets.

Since its founding in 1624, Fukusaya has continuously refined its Nagasaki castella cake by adding ingenuity to the Nanban confectionery originating in Spain. The crunchy texture of the coarse sugar at the bottom of the castella is one of its charms. This time, we have expressed a new sense of "Japan" by using the Yagasuri pattern, a traditional Japanese design, as our motif.

Toraya's special yokan, "Koucha no Shirabe" (Melody of Black Tea), boasts a history spanning five centuries. Its appeal lies in its elegant flavor and deep, beautiful color, achieved by layering Darjeeling tea-infused amber jelly with traditional refined yokan. This long-established shop has been selling it irregularly for limited periods since 1997, making it a hidden long-seller.
