On Saturday, February 24th, Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building 5th floor = Made to Measure will host a tailoring session for LID TAILOR by tailor Osamu Nemoto. Why not take this opportunity to experience the world of tailor Nemoto, who aims for styles that you'll want to keep wearing forever and that you'll grow to love more and more with each wear?

Osamu Nemoto, who was familiar with the Mod style in his youth and simultaneously began his apprenticeship as a tailor, later built a career of over 10 years as a tailor and pattern maker. In the early 2000s, while he was exploring the possibility of becoming independent, he rediscovered the art of Savile Row clothing making.

"I visited Anderson & Sheppard's workshop and experienced the raw reality of their manufacturing process firsthand. It strengthened my desire to create my own clothes," says Nemoto.

Anderson & Sheppard's style is known as "soft tailoring," featuring a shoulder line that closely matches the wearer's shoulder slope. While Mr. Nemoto says he prefers this style, he aims to be a tailor with broad knowledge who can meet a variety of demands. What he gained on Savile Row was not just a style, but an awareness of the art of tailoring clothes. Made to Measure suits embody this "universality of British origin," reflecting Mr. Nemoto's expertise.
