Onitsuka Tiger has released a new "GSM" model that boasts a beautiful luster and sheen reminiscent of lacquerware, exuding a classic and vintage feel.

The "GSM" series, named after the initials of "Game, Set, Match," is one of Onitsuka Tiger 's popular series. It's a court-style shoe that modernizes the silhouettes of tennis and basketball shoes released in the 1980s. From this renowned "GSM" series, a new model inspired by lacquer has been unveiled this season.

The upper is made of oiled leather that develops a unique texture with each wear. It retains the original sporty details, such as the zigzag pattern around the shoelace eyelets, the ventilation holes arranged at the front to reduce foot stuffiness, and the Onitsuka Tiger stripes on the sides.

Furthermore, the substantial upper's coloring boasts a beautiful, lacquer-like sheen, and the contrast with the lighter sole creates an elegant yet appropriately casual look.

To coincide with the launch of this new product, Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building B1F, Men's Shoes will be hosting a limited-time pop-up event from October 4th (Wed) to October 17th (Tue).
