For the Spring/Summer 2017 season, Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building Building, B1F = Men's Shoes, has adopted the theme of creating products necessary for the future by re-examining and re-evaluating various components of shoes—materials, lasts, design, and brand. In the "Classic" & "High-End" zone, slip-ons, a spring/summer staple, will be featured in a comprehensive lineup during the "Flower Festival" starting February 15th (Wednesday).

Sneakers have long been a huge hit in men's footwear, but last autumn and winter we received many requests from customers asking, "Do you have any slip-ons that we can wear now?" Also, this spring and summer we're focusing on "laceless shoes = slip-ons" that are easy to wear and feel comfortable in. From spring to summer, we'll be offering a wide variety of slip-ons that will complete your casual style comfortably and simply, from traditional loafer styles to sneaker-inspired designs.

The appeal of slip-on exhausts will be showcased in two parts, February and March.

At the "Flower Festival" starting on Wednesday, February 15th, we will focus on the "color variations" that are one of the charms of slip-on shoes, and highlight slip-ons from Italian and Spanish brands such as Campanile Ferrante SANTONI MAGNANNI , which are also trendsetting brands. For example, Tricker's will feature loafers made with vegetable-tanned leather. Crockett & Jones and Carmina Giacometti will convey the value of genuine materials. Pay attention to these combinations of classic designs and special materials.

Brands like Crockett & Jones and Carmina also offer slip-on shoes suitable for business casual wear, designed to be broken in and cared for over time. Featuring navy, brown, and white as the main colors, with green also available, these slip-ons are a spring/summer must-have. Embrace the seasonal feel starting from your feet.

From Wednesday, March 1st, Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , B1F, Men's Shoes will be holding a promotion called "Slip-on Museum," bringing together a collection of classic slip-on shoes from the past. Masterpieces from the UK, the US, and other countries will be on display. In addition, on weekends during the event period, there will be a "Slip-on Day" where store stylists will suggest their own slip-on styles, and the entire floor will be promoting slip-ons.
