This time-consuming and labor-intensive method, also used for bespoke shoes, can only be performed by highly skilled craftsmen, and by hand-stitching the insole, it provides a comfortable fit that conforms to the shape of the foot.

The materials used include top-grade calfskin from renowned tanneries such as Dupuy and Annonay in France, which are also used by high-end men's shoe brands, for the upper, and leather from the Belgian company Assure for the sole.
