This shoe is the result of a collaboration between Otsuka Shoe Co., Ltd., a leading Japanese shoe manufacturer, and Kōchōsai Kosuga, a long-established Kyoto-based manufacturer of creative bamboo crafts founded in 1898. Delicate woven bamboo parts, retaining the original texture of the bamboo, are placed on the upper of a classic loafer. The jet-black bamboo craftsmanship stands out beautifully against the matte suede leather, creating a striking presence. This is the ultimate Japan-made shoe.
