Embrace Japanese culture.

Hello everyone!
The hot weather continues every day; how are you all doing?

Charlie Weiss, who loves summer, said that he is once again surprised by the high temperatures around the world this year.
Charlie, who wants to enjoy summer no matter how hot the country, apparently travels around researching the best ways to stay cool in the summer.

She apparently tried various methods, such as trying to cover as much skin as possible on sunny days, starting her activities as soon as the sun began to set, and even deliberately drinking hot coffee to raise her body temperature!

However, it seems that the method Charlie sought to find the coolest was the way of staying cool in Japan!

Putting on a yukata made of cool, breathable material, fanning myself with a fan while listening to the sound of wind chimes, and savoring a cold shaved ice...

Charlie said that the Japanese summer he learned about from a woman seemed very cool and refreshing.
(I've also heard him say, "The time I spent with that woman was pretty hot, though♪")

Now, at THE GALLERY by CHALIE VICE on the 8th floor Isetan Shinjuku Store, Men's Building , we will be introducing a new collection, "Wearing Japan," starting July 29th (Tuesday).

Every country has its own unique and fascinating culture.
As you all know, Charlie Weiss is a huge Japanophile.
She loves things that reflect Japanese culture, not only in food but also in fashion, and always carries them with her!

"For example, gentlemen in Milan always keep a special outfit in their closet that they can wear to La Scala at any time."
On the day I'm going to enjoy the opera, I spend the whole day getting ready, and once I'm satisfied with how I look in the mirror, I head to my favorite cafe for a glass of wine.

And then, suppressing my excitement, I lightly ascend the stairs to La Scala.
For them, wearing a tuxedo is part of the culture of opera, and it's nothing out of the ordinary.

Fortunately, Japan has beautiful patterns that enhance the Japanese aesthetic, as well as a culture that suits the finest garments adorned with these patterns.
It would be a shame for you fashionistas, who know all about Japanese style, not to enjoy it!

Therefore, at THE GALLERY by CHALIE VICE, we have selected items featuring "Japanese patterns" that can be enjoyed casually as everyday wear.
Summer in Japan is still just beginning.

To enjoy the refined culture of Japan, wear items adorned with "Wa" (Japanese style) motifs...

So, for all you discerning Charlie friends out there, where will you be going this summer?

Noh performer Motonori Okura presents Kyogen Lounge

Kyogen Lounge was started in 2010 by Noh actor and Kyogen performer Motonari Okura with the aim of spreading Kyogen, one of Japan's traditional cultural forms, to younger generations.
To ensure that even those seeing Kyogen for the first time can enjoy the performance, Motonari Okura provides easy-to-understand explanations, and there are collaborations such as a DJ in a kimono performing music.

For this event, Charlie Weiss insisted on asking Mr. Okura to create a special Kyogen Lounge for Charlie's friends.
