Q: How should I care for men's shoes? (Smooth leather edition)

A. It is generally recommended to do it in two steps.



▶STEP 1｜Preparation

Tie the shoelaces so they don't get in the way. Put the goalkeeper in and the preparation is complete.


▶STEP 2｜Cleaning

Now, let's begin the care process. First, remove any dust from your shoes with a horsehair brush, then apply a special cleaner to a cloth and rub it into the shoes.
When doing this, the key is to apply the polish in a circular motion starting from the heel, as shown in the picture. Once you've finished applying it to the entire surface, wipe it dry with a cloth to complete the cleaning.


▶STEP 3｜Treatment

Apply a rice-grain-sized amount of the emulsified cream from the jar to a cloth and gently rub it into the skin. The key is to gently stroke the skin rather than rubbing it hard.
Once you've applied the cream all over, let it sit for a few minutes, then brush it with a boar bristle brush. Thorough brushing will remove any excess cream and give the entire surface a glossy finish.


▶STEP 4｜Care of the sides

If you have the time and resources, we also recommend this care. The sides of the shoes inevitably get worn down and the color fades with wear. This is where a special edge ink comes in handy.
The tip is sponge-like, so you can remove any excess liquid before applying it directly to the edge of the leather. Applying polish as a finishing touch will give it a glossy finish.
