What is a "Personal Image Consultant" as proposed by a category specialist?

Okada's personal color analysis reveals her best and worst colors.

" The change in how your face looks is most noticeable at the 'moment' when you switch the color of the drape," says Yokoyama. They will compare the "S/H/D/P" colors using four types of the same hue.


In Okada's case, with the green, as soon as he switches from S to H, the yellow tint intensifies, making it look yellowish-black.
Furthermore, changing from S to D gave my complexion a yellowish, dull look, and changing from S to P made my entire face look darker, and my cheeks appeared gaunt.


After comparing all seven colors, Okada found that "blue undertones (bright, muted colors with a bluish tint)" were the perfect match. Okada's color type is "Cool Summer (S)".

Okada : I think the green one looked the most different. It's easy to see the difference.

Yokoyama : I look at your complexion, facial contours, and how shadows fall. Too pale or too yellowish is a no-no. The "right color" is one that harmonizes and makes you look sharp.

Next, we'll use color drapes from the "Cool Summer (S)" palette to further narrow down the "colors that suit you."


Okada's "personal colors" are bright and calming colors, and she looks best in muted colors that have white added to them, rather than very dark colors.
To avoid highly saturated royal blue, yellowish beige, and off-white, Kucchi advises Okada, who laments, "But I like dark beige," that "you can adjust it by adding your favorite color around your neck or as an inner layer."

Yokoyama : Wearing colors that suit you will increase your likeability.

Okada : I wish I had known sooner (laughs).

Okada learns about the "shapes, materials, and patterns" that suit her through a "skeletal style analysis®" experience.

"Skeletal Style Analysis®" examines your bone structure and muscle distribution to determine the "shapes," "materials," and "patterns" that will enhance your appearance. Choosing clothes that suit you will make you look slimmer, younger, and give you a clean and polished look.

"The key is to wear things that suit you, so you can look stylish regardless of trends," says Yokoyama.


The analysis will be conducted along the following four axes: texture (skin texture), structural strength (size and thickness), three-dimensionality (presence or absence of thickness), and center of gravity (upper or lower).

Okada's "Body Shape Analysis®" result is " Wave "

"Okada-san's hands are of medium thickness, her collarbones are not very prominent, and her torso is flat. Her knees are also flexible," Kucchi said as he carefully performed a physical and visual check.


As a result, Kucchi determined that Okada's body type is "wave."

Furthermore, the trend was clear even when trying on jackets of different shapes and materials.
A slightly softer material and shorter length looked well-balanced, while a stronger material, lower button placement, boxy silhouette, and longer length resulted in an oversized appearance that looked stretched out.


Kucchi : The "Wave" style is basically about a "just right to compact" fit. It pairs perfectly with soft materials and small patterns (dots, gingham, etc.) rather than oversized pieces made of slightly stiff and heavy materials . Short-length blousons and down jackets are also recommended.

Based on the two results, Okada was selected for an on-scene business style. Kucchi proposes a coordinated look that makes a jacket and pants set appear as a highly professional business style.


He pairs a blue houndstooth jacket with a bright light blue inner layer and completes the look with gray wool slacks. This is Okada's classic style, adhering to the rule of keeping the pattern small and the silhouette "not too big."

Okada : The blue-on-blue combination is refreshing. My personal color analysis said that blue and gray tones suit me, so this is a classic choice.

Kucchi : I've focused on creating a silhouette that "fits the body" and looks simple and sophisticated . The high neckline also suits the " wave " body type.

Yokoyama : For those with a wave body type, high-neck items such as T-shirts and mock necks are a good match.

Off-duty style | "Adult casual" that suits you with relaxed materials and colors

For the second casual style, I decided to try something colorful. This outfit features an oversized shirt in Okada's personal color, "lavender."


Because the shirt is made of 100% rayon, it has an oversized fit, but the soft material makes it easy to wear even for those with a "wave" body type. The bottoms are stretchy gray silk pants. The key point, according to Yokoyama, is "to match the material and color."

Yokoyama : For those with a "wave" body type, tighter styles generally suit them best, but if you want to wear a looser design, having a core set of materials and colors that work well with it will help you pull it off.

Okada : The key is to incorporate elements that suit "waves" into your preferred style. I also made some new discoveries by coordinating colors that I wouldn't normally choose.
