Ikeuchi | "HILL LOW BASIC WHITE" - Shoes that feel like leather shoes.

First up is the brand's standard model, the "HILL LOW BASIC WHITE." This is a pair of sneakers for Ikeuchi, who seeks a clean and simple look.

Ikeuchi : I often wear leather shoes, so I always want to choose something that looks relatively neat and simple.

Nakamura : This is a classic model for the brand. It's a standard shoe that's highly valued even in Italy. Actually, this one has a 2.5cm insole. The outsole is a little low, but it has excellent cushioning.

Nakamura : They have a slightly sporty feel, but they also have a solid feel that makes them suitable for office wear. Actually, the outsole is about 5cm high, and there's an additional 2.5cm insole, so it's 5 + 2.5cm.

Okada : It feels like my heels are being lifted up, more like they're being supported than cushioned. Plus, they're wide, so they're incredibly comfortable to wear.

Tashiro : I touched it thinking it would be really hard, but the elasticity is incredible. Plus, it doesn't feel that heavy.

Nakamura : They make you taller, they're lightweight, and they're comfortable to wear. If you're someone who can wear sneakers to work, I highly recommend these.

Okada : It's perfectly usable for smart casual occasions.

Okada : I'd like to go to a town where old bars and new restaurants are mixed together.

Furthermore, this colorway is not available in the US and can only be purchased in Japan.

Tashiro : The upper has a nostalgic feel, like a good old-fashioned running shoe, so it's a design I'm familiar with. The use of gold in certain areas and the new sole create a really nice sense of incongruity.

One of the most distinctive features of this model is the arrangement of the shoelaces.

Nakamura : It comes with two pairs of shoelaces. There are brown and white laces, so you can change them depending on your mood that day, but I personally like to use both pairs to give my feet more volume.

Tashiro : The double is great. It has a nice volume and a casual feel to it.
